Description
Twende Green Planet is looking for a Community & Training Coordinator to help run our new Coastal Enterprise & Cash Crop Trainers Programme: recruiting cohorts, coordinating training delivery with KALRO agronomists, and supporting trainees through their community cascade phase. To apply, email your CV to hr@twende.green with “Community & Training Coordinator” in the subject line.
Here’s what you’d do:
You’ll be the day-to-day coordinator for each six-month training cohort, from recruitment through to graduates delivering their own training back in their communities.
- Recruiting and onboarding each Coastal Enterprise & Cash Crop Trainers cohort
- Coordinating training schedules with KALRO agronomists and Twende field staff
- Supporting trainees through the training-of-trainers and community cascade phase
- Maintaining the Twende Coastal Trainers Network of past graduates
Here’s what to know about working here:
This role works closely with coastal communities and requires regular travel alongside cohorts through their six-month cycle. It’s a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on community facilitation as much as logistics.
What We Offer:
As the Trainers Programme scales to more cohorts, this role is positioned to grow into leading the programme’s community operations more broadly.
- Paid annual leave
- NHIF and NSSF contributions
- Field allowance for coastal site travel
