Geography Swahilipot Hub’s Youth Work Covers
Mombasa
Coastal Kenya
- Technology training, arts programming and entrepreneurship development for coastal youth
- A youth-focused mission that overlaps with the youth focus of our own Blue Carbon Quarterly Activation
- Based in the same coastal city, Mombasa, where Twende Green Planet’s restoration work is rooted
- Named here as an organisation whose work we track and respect, not a confirmed partner
Swahilipot Hub Foundation’s youth-focused mission in coastal Kenya sits close to our own. Twende Green Planet has no formal relationship with Swahilipot Hub at this stage; we name the organisation here because its work is directly relevant to ours, and we will report a working relationship plainly if one develops.
- Both organisations centre youth participation as a design principle, not an afterthought
- Both are rooted in coastal Kenya, working with and for the same communities
- A future working relationship, if it develops, would be reported here honestly, not assumed in advance
- See our own Volunteer page for how young people can get involved with Twende directly
