When is it?
3 to 5 December 2026: Commit on Thursday 3 December, Activate on Friday 4 December and Restore on Saturday 5 December.
Where does it take place?
The dinner is at Vipingo Ridge, the beach clean-up and exhibition at Nyali in Mombasa, and the mangrove planting at Kwetu Centre in Mtwapa.
How many mangroves will be planted?
Seventy thousand seedlings are used in the mass planting on 5 December, and any that remain are planted through the rest of the quarter, to 31 March 2027. The first action, in October, planted and GPS-tagged 4,000.
How do I take part as an organisation?
Choose a level of participation: Entry, Anchor, Major or Strategic. Each funds mangrove seedlings in your name and includes dinner seats, a stand and recognition. Compare them on the participation page.
What does it cost?
Contributions are about USD 1,925 (Entry), 3,850 (Anchor), 7,700 (Major) and 19,250 and above (Strategic). Every level funds a seedling at about USD 0.77.
Can I buy only dinner seats?
Yes. Dinner seats are available separately for directors, staff and guests. Register your interest and we will send the booking link.
What are the seat categories?
Standard, Preferred, VIP and VVIP. VVIP seats are subject to protocol and to who attends on the night.
Can I move up to a higher level?
Yes, at any time before 3 December. Seats and spaces are allocated in the order of confirmation.
Do you claim carbon credits for the planting?
No. We do not claim carbon credits for the planting, and we report results as they are.
What will I receive afterwards?
A Partner Activation Certificate, an Impact Report, a Commitment Wall record and a Media Coverage Archive. Planted blocks are GPS-tagged and checked after six months with the Kenya Forest Service.
Can my company show a vehicle or product?
Yes. The higher levels include a stand large enough to show a vehicle, and we welcome vehicle support for buses, trucks and pickups, recognised separately from the contribution.
How do I pay?
We send a quotation in US dollars with payment details. Dinner seats are paid by M-Pesa or card through your account.
