Peter Oluoch Odhengo is a Senior Policy Advisor on Climate Finance at Kenya's National Treasury and Planning, with over 20 years of experience in sustainable development and green fiscal policy. He serves as the Technical Focal Point for Kenya's Green Climate Fund (GCF) National Designated Authority and Team Leader for the country's Green Bond Sovereign Framework — having overseen GCF approvals totalling approximately USD 1.3 billion.
Peter has advised the Prime Minister's Office on climate change and green energy, directed resource mobilisation at the Kenya Water Towers Agency, and led compliance at NEMA-Kenya. He holds an MSc in Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development from a UNESCO-led consortium, and has received specialist training from Sweden, Japan, the IMF, and the Netherlands. A published author and registered Lead Expert, he is Wing Coordinator for Kenya at the Deltas Alliance.
